Supplied two way radio communications 2007 – 2010 for the mammoth $720 mil project.
Multicom set up a site system to facilitate communications between multiple companies/clients – all of which needed to speak to each other as well as have private channels for job specific tasks.
We coordinated communications between all companies onsite.
We setup site wide channels and company specific channels.
We developed a site system for each of company/client – as every company had different requirements in regards to which site channels and other companies onsite they need to communicate with.
Every company had there own unique frequency list, many of which needed to be updated over the course of the 2 year project.
A client would advise of new communication requirements and Multicom would confirm this with the other clients to ensure no privacy concerns.
We would then program a new batch of radios to be dispatch to site – this minimised downtime meaning clients were not left without communications while we update frequency lists. The client would then return the existing radios once the new radios were allocated to workers.
